Planning Lawyer

We are currently working in partnership with a Local Authority in the West Midlands, who are recruiting for a locum Planning Lawyer to join the team for three months initially.

The role offers remote working, and a rate in the region of £55 p/hour UMB subject to PQE, and the

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Managing a wide-ranging caseload of both straightforward and complex legal work spanning planning, environmental, and highways law and governance
• Providing high quality well researched legal advice and assistance to client departments within agreed timescales, in regards to planning matters
• Supporting the Principal Solicitor and other colleagues in ensuring that a professional, comprehensive legal service is provided to the Council, its Members and Officers
• Advising at Planning Committees as required

Experience required:

• Local Government Planning Law

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week
