PPR Production Technician - Full Time - Leeds, United Kingdom

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to 5S/Lean and health and safety requirements.
- Minimise waste in time and materials while consistently meeting targets.
- Operate and maintain company tools and equipment, including CNC turning and vertical lathes.
- Communicate regularly with supervisors regarding job progress and any issues.
- Complete and manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and manufacturing records accurately.
- Assist with risk assessments, ensuring all production activities are safe and compliant.
- Support other technicians with workloads as required and participate in audits and company improvement initiatives such as Lean and 5S.
- Uphold Sulzer’s environmental, health, safety, and energy management systems.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Apprentice training in a relevant field.
- Experience in a related industry, with knowledge of manufacturing processes and standards.
- Experience in CNC turning and vertical lathe operations is essential.
- A solid understanding of health and safety requirements, including risk assessments and manual handling.
- Familiarity with programming is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong communication, time management, and relationship management skills.
- Flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to change.
- Basic PC skills and the ability to act independently.
