The Role:
An introductory Presales role designed to expose the successful candidate to the technical aspects of enterprise technology.
In this role, you will provide essential administrative support within the Presales team and work closely with internal sales and product teams. Using vendor configurators, you will be required to build solution bill of materials to customer specifications.
Key skills for this role include delivering excellent customer service, working to deadlines, and the ability to build relationships and engage with people confidently over the phone.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:
- Providing accurate responses to customer requests within SLA
- Qualifying customer requests and ensuring all required information is provided
- Becoming a trusted advisor to partners while collaborating with vendors and internal sales & product teams
- Managing configuration tools and processes
- Interpreting customer specifications and business needs
- Holding and maintaining relevant technical certifications
- Influencing partner & customer evaluation criteria and decision-making
- Maintaining knowledge of competitors to strategically position the company's products and services
- Working closely with sales & business development teams, reporting activity back to management and contributing to business strategy where possible
- Supporting the Sales team in areas such as pricing, tools, and training
- Developing best practices for fulfilling non-standard deals
- Managing Zendesk workflow
- Troubleshooting, resolving issues, and managing the escalation process
- Liaising with the bid desk to ensure process and communication are maintained

- Experience in an administrative role (ideally)
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and take initiative

- Good knowledge of Word, Excel, and email packages
- Ability to learn quickly and approach tasks in a methodical and logical manner
