Pricing Actuary

Miryco Consultants is working with a leading Lloyd’s of London insurer to expand their Pricing function, with an emphasis on technical pricing model development and implementation. This will suit GI actuaries with a desire to be at the forefront of pricing R&D in the London Market.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with underwriters on the delivery of market-leading pricing strategies.
• Implement, develop and optimise pricing models and wider analytical models using Python.
• Liaise with underwriting, claims, data engineering and other actuarial teams in a commercially central position.
• Contribute to the algorithm-led pricing approach across classes in Python.
• Communicate crucial information and analytical insights to key stakeholders across actuarial and underwriting teams.

Desired Skills (not all essential):

• Qualified Actuary or highly-experience technical pricing professional.
• Extensive experience of GI pricing.
• Technically capable in Python.
• Highly commercial, able to communicate complex models and analysis to non-technical stakeholders. Be the face of the Actuarial Analytics team to the wider business.

Location: London (Hybrid)

Salary: Up to £110,000
