The Global VP Pricing will lead pricing and packaging strategy efforts globally for Trustpilot. This senior leadership role will involve frequent collaboration with the executive team on high-impact initiatives and efforts. The qualified candidate will be entrepreneurial with a solid commercial background who enjoys growing revenues. You are a strategic thinker, ideally with a background in strategy coupled with operational experience.


What You’ll Be Doing


Foundational


  • Lead global and regional monetization initiatives to maximize revenue and customer value
  • Apply a variety of pricing frameworks and strategies to solve business problems and identify opportunities
  • Build, develop, and motivate a team committed to pricing strategy, analysis, and execution
  • Own ARPU for specific customer cohorts
  • Create clear strategic priorities for the business and align resources accordingly. Ensure that decisions are made in a timely manner leveraging data and insights and holding the teams accountable for delivery
  • Ensure pricing and packaging performance is effectively captured and tracked through data mining and analysis across all segments and regularly communicated
  • Develop clear and concise executive-level communications. Communicate recommendations to senior management, other executive, functional, or regional staff, and management in a clear, concise, and impactful way
  • Ensure that the way that Trustpilot charges is fair/transparent and compliant and in line with core Trustpilot values and in particular ‘Integrity’ and ‘Trust’


Transformational


  • Collaborate with product management, sales, and marketing teams to design and package products and services that solve customer problems and deliver value
  • Identify gaps in internal knowledge, capability and processes and deliver scalable best-in-class price and proposition management and capability
  • Communicate findings to management to influence business decisions and driving through business change and strategy
  • Drive experimentation and testing of pricing strategies to continuously optimize pricing and revenue


Collaboration


  • Coordinate with global and regional peers to gain buy-in and deliver effectively
  • Establish agreed standards for measuring the effectiveness of pricing tests with the finance and analytics teams
  • Work closely with product marketing to ensure willingness to pay for data and insight is aligned with internal customer segmentation


Who You Are


  • Proven experience delivering measurable impact to the P&L
  • Combination of strategy and operational excellence
  • Experience and exposure to pricing management within SaaS, Software, dual-sided platforms and freemium models
  • Familiarity with pricing quantitative research techniques (eg, conjoint, Van Westendorp, Max Diff)
  • Exemplary analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor
  • Flexible, intellectually curious, creative thinker with the ability to define business tradeoffs, generate creative solutions and manage uncertainty
  • High interpersonal skills with presence and the ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior and executive management, clients, peers, and team members
  • Great management skills with experience developing and building a high-performing team, including recruiting and retaining talent and developing team members
  • Ability to structure and manage complex cross-enterprise projects and processes with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to work with limited direction, usually within a complex and often ambiguous environment, to drive rigorous, fact-based recommendations to senior and executive management while supporting syndication with stakeholders across the organization
