Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Principal Design Engineer to lead and oversee the design of civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of design principles, bring innovative solutions to complex challenges, and have a track record of successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage design teams in delivering high-quality engineering solutions for major projects.
• Develop and review detailed engineering designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior design engineers.
• Ensure all designs meet safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
• Oversee the integration of design changes, addressing any technical challenges that arise during project development.
• Participate in client meetings and support business development through technical input.
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in civil engineering design, including managing complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Proven leadership skills and experience in managing design teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
