Our Team
Semtech Corporation is a leading supplier of high-quality analogue and mixed-signal semiconductor products. Semtech is an organization headquartered in Camarillo, California with 31 offices in 14 countries around the world. In the UK, the Bristol and Romsey product development team is primarily responsible for PON ONU chipsets for optical fibre to the home (FTTh). The engineering team is 70 strong, of which 25 work in IC design.
Job Summary
PON ONU chipsets comprise APD/PIN TIAs, laser diode drivers, optical receivers and fully integrated transceiver ICs for legacy 2.5Gbps GPON, current 10Gbps XG(S)PON and next generation 25G/50Gbps applications. Laser drivers and TIAs are also key to LiDAR systems, and therefore new opportunities are opening up in this space – specifically for automotive applications. Semtech is a market leader in PON and the role presents an opportunity to join an experienced Analogue RF IC design team working on the next generation of optical access network devices.
