Wood is currently recruiting for a Principal Pipe Stress Engineer with experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry. There is opportunity for the right candidate to support the piping engineering team as well as pipe stress work.
Experienced Pipe Stress Engineer Required to work on the Shell EPC contract and provide support to the wider pipe stress function.
Responsibilities
Pipe Stress Analysis in Caesar II
Complication of Stress Reports
Checking and approval of other Stress Engineers work
Provide cover for UK Stress Focal point
Flange joint calculations
Trunnion and reinforcement calculations
Qualifications
Experience with:
Oil And Gas Onshore facilities
Oil and Gas Offshore Facilities
FPSO's
Transmission Systems
Blast, Seismic and other occasional loads
