Semtech’s Signal Integrity Products (SIP) group designs and manufactures high performance mixed-signal integrated circuits for the world’s leading data and video communication companies to enable their next-generation products. Primary Responsibilities
- Design and lead the manufacture of high performing test hardware solutions (includes PCB, cabling, fixtures, interfaces, etc.), for new products to be tested on various tester platforms at package and/or wafer level.
- Participate in new product design meetings to drive testability features into new IC designs.
- Collaborate with Product & Test Engineering to ensure test hardware solutions align with test coverage plan.
- Hold test hardware planning and review meetings with key stakeholders on project teams.
- Conduct performance analysis that closes the loop on the hardware design, ensuring continuous hardware performance improvements.
- Ensure developed test hardware solutions survive the rigors of full production testing at our OSATs
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar discipline with 10+ years of experience
- Experience in test/evaluation hardware developments targeting ATE and/or rack & stack test systems
- Experience in schematic level design using industry standard software packages
- Experience in collaboration with external PCB design and manufacturing services, providing direction and feedback
