The Opportunity

As a Privacy Analyst, you will play a key role in managing our public-facing data protection account and responding to requests from data subjects exercising their rights under data protection law. You will support the Data Protection Managers across the Group in handling Subject Access Requests (SARs), Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), and incident responses. Additionally, you will assist the Data Protection Officer (DPO) with proactive initiatives to improve compliance, manage data inventories, and run awareness campaigns within the organisation.

**The position does not need to be based at the London office and can be based at other operating company locations**

Principal Accountabilities

• Collaborate with Data Protection Managers, IT, Procurement, and process owners to identify and document personal data processing activities across the Group and with third-party processors.
• Assist in the handling of SARs, DPIAs, and data breach incident management.
• Support the data protection managers in conducting audits across various business areas and processes to ensure data protection compliance.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to all data protection inquiries, requests, or complaints directed to the Data Protection account.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all requests and associated processing activities to ensure transparency and compliance.
• Utilise Purview to identify, classify, and manage data within the Group’s Microsoft tenancy.
• Work closely with the Information Security team to implement data loss prevention policies.
• Support the Data Protection Officer in implementing strategies to ensure compliance with data protection laws and accountability obligations

Knowledge & Experience

• Self-motivated and dedicated to continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent IT skills, particularly with Microsoft 365.
• High attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to engage with colleagues and senior management both verbally and in writing.
• Experience/ qualification in data protection is not necessary for this role
