Location: Durrington (Worthing)/Falmer – Hybrid 2/3 days a week in office

Contract Type: 6 month FTC with possible extensions/permanent

Salary: 41,400.00 - 58,400.00 GBP Annual (pro rata)

Hours: 37 hours

Southern Water will be delivering a significant increase in its capital delivery programme over the next five-year period. We are also implementing a core enterprise system related to our work order management and asset data management, whilst making changes to our asset lifecycle process. To understand opportunities for process improvement and digitisation, there is a need to document our current processes in the first instance. processing of water for public use and we are a Project Manager to assist in this transformation.

As a Project Manager, you will be managing the project and working closely with two interim dedicated business analysts and other key stakeholders to ensure that the project is delivered successfully.

Your Responsibilities Are To Include

  • Creating a project plan and working within financial constraints.
  • Engaging with stakeholders, working groups and other teams.
  • Project governance, status and reporting across projects and project controls using our core system of records (WAVE).
  • Understand and coordinate with independent associated initiatives – ensuring alignment across various initiatives.
  • Risk, issue, assumption, and dependency management.
  • Supporting workshops and the creation of process documentation.

Skills And Experience Needed

  • Project Management formal qualification or similar.
  • Previous experience of data flows and data master management projects.
  • Experience with MS Project or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influence.
  • Workshop organisation and facilitation skills.
