Jupiter provides investment services to individual and institutional investors through mutual funds (UK unit trusts, Luxembourg SICAVs and Dublin OEICs), separately managed accounts and sub-advised funds. Jupiter has experienced a period of international growth with offices open in EMEA and APAC.
The majority of our employees are based in our London office located just minutes from Victoria station which provides stair-free access from both the Underground’s Victoria line and National Rail platforms, as well as limited road crossings to the Jupiter office. Our London office was designed to encourage employees to live active, healthy lives with floor-to-ceiling windows that allow for greater natural light and the benefit of a private balcony, table tennis room, cycle storage and on-site shower and locker facilities. The short distance to Green Park and St James' Park also provides employees with a natural space to relax during their lunch break and a healthy alternative to office-based meetings.
We offer our UK employees a 3:2 hybrid working arrangement where Tuesdays, Thursdays and a third day of your choice are worked from the office. The other two days may be worked from home. This facilitates collaboration and allows employees to maximise productivity whilst maintaining a healthy work/life balance.
Background
The IPA team at Jupiter plays a crucial role in enhancing business processes across the organisation, making them more efficient, robust, auditable, and easier to manage. Comprised of skilled developers and business analysts, the team oversees projects from start to finish, including analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance. With a diverse and extensive portfolio of work, the team leverages a wide range of technologies to achieve its goals. This position is for a Business Process Analyst with cross functional experience. The focus is identifying where processes can be enhanced to deliver better outcomes, within a governed and controlled framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with internal Jupiter teams to map current and future state Business Processes.
- Elicit requirements and expectations from various stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and documentation.
- Ability to cover the business at different levels. From company-wide, to departmental TOMs, to smaller processes that can singled out for efficiency.
- Analyse and document 'As-Is' and 'To-Be' business processes using BPMN 2.0 standards.
- Establish excellent relationships with internal teams to encourage and guide them to provide enough information to map effectively.
- Ability to document and present findings to stakeholders.
- Understand what ‘good’ process looks like, ensuring that future process is adequately governed.
- Consider and suggest how processes can be improved, taking ideas all the way through to delivery.
- Work with Process Review Lead, but with ability to take on responsibility for various teams.
Desired Skills / Experience
- 2 -3 years’ experience of Business Analysis/Process Analysis in Asset Management.
- Flexible and team oriented
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Organised, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Experienced in developing constructive internal and external relationships
- Experience of process improvement
- Ability to map to industry standards in systems such as IBM Blueworks, Visio and Lucid
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- An aptitude and enthusiasm for process improvement and new technologies
- Proactive, self-motivated with a creative and practical approach to problem solving
