Do you have an eye for detail? Are you well organised and a good communicator? Then you may be the right person for this role! By joining the Procurement team as an apprentice, you will have the opportunity to both gain experience in an important team within the council, but also to gain a nationally recognised qualification in Procurement (CIPS Level 4).

What We’re Looking For
You will be a a good communicator, with strong organisational skills. You will be able to work as part of a team, as well as having the confidence to work unsupervised as required. You will have a good basic level of IT skills, and be flexible in your approach to work, and able to adapt to different challenges.
Location
The job is primarily based in Laurence House, Catford, but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.
Special conditions
- Be over the age of 16 (there is no upper age limit)
- Be a Lewisham borough resident (the electoral register will be used to verify this information)
- Have full residency entitlement, there must be no restrictions on your status in the UK (all successful candidates will need to produce their passport once a job offer is made)
- Be able to pass an initial assessment test in Maths and English
- All candidates must complete the apprenticeship application questions available below. Applications that do not address the apprenticeship application questions will not be considered

Salary
£25, 276 per annum (LLW)
N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
