About The Job
As a Regional Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying suppliers of goods and services, negotiating terms with suppliers, and ensuring that all procurement activities align with our company's budget constraints and profitability goals.
What will you do?:
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers of goods and services. Cost Savings and benefits generation planning.
- Negotiate terms with suppliers, including prices, discounts and rebate or credit arrangements, quality, deadlines, and expectations.
- Processing, approvals management and issue of all supply contract documentation (including NDA, MSA, SSA, CCN, Novation and Terminations).
- Terminating, Amending or Suspending Supplier Agreements, Vendor Accounts and any In-Scope Category related payments.
- Liaise with suppliers and project managers to provide updates and details of goods.
- Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring they align with supply requests and orders.
- Analyze invoices to ensure the accuracy of goods delivered.
- Monitor inventory levels to maintain a positive flow of goods.
- Creating and Managing Effective Contract Management Processes: including the creation of suitable supply contracts against approved expenditure requirements, processing approval workflows in accordance with the company Authorisations Matrix, executing signature and recording commitments correctly into the Contract Management Systems (CMS).
- Managing and maintaining a single company database for supplier related operational information required by the business (typically relating to Approved and Preferred Supplier Lists (PSL), contacts and account managers, telephone numbers, email addresses and agree Rate Cards).
- Attend meetings with the legal/procurement department to ensure contractual obligations are favorable to the company.
- Work closely with the projects/Bid/Sales teams to understand procurement requirements.
