POSITION: Product Manager

DIVISION/DEPT: Xpel

REPORTS TO: Senior Product Development Manager

LOCATION: Widnes Office - Hybrid

The Opportunity- Product Manager Xpel

We have an exciting new role in our Product Development team at Xpel. This role focuses on building and developing the product portfolio including trend and core Health & Beauty, Personal Care, Toiletries & Household products for the value-retail market. You will develop new and existing products and help source new product ideas and categories, a passion for research and staying ahead of trends is key.

In addition you will have excellent communication skills as you will be liaising with a wide range of stakeholders across the business and visiting customer stores and attending trade shows in the UK and internationally.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Understand the market, product trends and research, including talking to customers and visiting customer stores. Assess competitors’ products to identify important features and compare performance with equivalent company products
• Conduct market research, identify and drive new product development and product upgrades against a plan
• Lead on all functions of the product development process including brand development, design, and buying/supplier relations
• Delegate projects to the product assistant, manage and work with them to ensure they are supported effectively
• Deliver products and ranges that are targeted and exceed customer expectations
  
  

About You

• Two years minimum product management and/or product development or brand management experience/ skills
• Experience in a product management role or similar
• Excellent attention to detail
• Self-motivated with a passion for product and an interest in retail
• Ability to multi-task on multiple projects
• Confident in communicating and developing relationships with internal and external sources
