Responsibilities

Job purpose:

StoneX is looking to recruit a program manager who has previous experience in leading complex, large-scale technical program deliveries covering multiple geographies, business units and platforms. The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the EPMO, senior leadership , product and technical delivery teams to deliver a strategic program of work touching multiple in-house teams. Roles and Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for driving overall delivery of a strategic program of work. Your r ole is to define the different stages of implementation and ensure they are met. Your main roles and responsibilities will be as follows, but are not limited to :

  • Work with product teams, commercial teams and senior stakeholders to identify program scope and objectives
  • Work with delivery teams and solution architects to build out agreed scope , define requirements and build out robust plans for delivery
  • Define the projects and features that make up the program , b ring ing consensus to the most efficient way to deliver value to the organisation as quickly as possible
  • Monitor and assess program performance, including  overseeing delivery of the projects and features that make up the program ensuring completion on time, to scope and within budget
  • Overall responsibility for ensuring everyone on the program is clear on what needs to happen, when it needs to happen by , how it is going to happen and who by
  • Identify , track and monitor dependencies
  • Secure resource commitment and hold teams to accoun t
  • Identify high level risks and track them through to resolution, escalating where needed
  • R eport on program progress, including spend to date ( hrs and $)
  • Clearly, concisely and accurately communicate program progress at regular intervals
  • Build relationships with stakeholders, delivery teams and EPMO team members
  • A bility to identify , address and resolve differences between individuals and/or interest groups


Qualifications

Skills and Experience:

  • 7+ years of full-time technical program management experience or equivalent
  • Proven success o f delivering large and complex technology/change initiatives at program-level, ideally in financial services and with budgets of over $2m / 10,000 person days
  • Be comfortable working with internal teams of 50+ people across multiple geographies and time zones
  • Be a key collaborator – someone who is inclusive, results driven, who leads by example and brings the best out of teams
  • A bility to work with people, both internally and externally, to build support to achieve intended outcomes
  • Knowledge of complex technical ecosystems and financial services preferred
  • Direct experience working with IT development teams, platforms and solution architects
  • Ability to quickly adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
  • Ability to thrive in a challenging, fast-paced environment
  • Analytical skills or experience would be beneficial
  • Strong leadership qualities with the capability to manage diverse teams
  • Ability to master and navigate new subject domains quickly
  • Confident in communicating with C-suites and technical delivery teams
  • Experience in Jira and Confluence, Agile and Waterfall
  • The role will be based in the office 3 days per week minimum


Qualifications:

A professional qualification in project / program management is preferred
