What You'll Be Doing
As a key member of the DLG Performance Marketing ‘engine room’ this role will plan, implement, measure and optimise programmatic marketing activities to deliver marginal ROI for the group. Using digital media channels and by leveraging the latest data driven marketing techniques, this role will partner with members of the marketing team and the wider Marketing Leadership Team, together with stakeholders from Business Units, to deliver effective Programmatic campaigns that help grow their P&Ls and drive value for DLG.
- Create, implement and optimise a Performance marketing, multi-channel media plan to deliver the Performance marketing and CRM growth strategies
- Represent the performance marketing team within Business Unit areas when needed, sharing plans, reporting on performance and optimisation and making recommendations for improved success
- Manage a budget of up to £3m to deliver maximum ROI across acquisition and CRM
- Work with external media agencies and content/production providers when needed to deliver relevant and often personalised content to improve campaign performance
- Work with Data Clean Room, data owners and DSPs to generate opportunities for high returning Programmatic campaigns
- Constantly learn and develop understanding of the Programmatic landscape as new partners, tech and data opportunities emerge
- In partnership with the Insight and Effectiveness team, ensure measurement frameworks, benchmarks and tagging is in place to continually improve performance of Programmatic campaigns
- Work alongside the Digital Teams to ensure Customer Journeys are aligned to maximise conversion
- Execute all campaigns in line with DLG’s risk appetite.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working with direct-to-customer brands delivering performance activities across Paid Social and Programmatic (performance display/video) platforms
- Strong knowledge in the Programmatic Industry and awareness of the evolving landscape
- Ability to work with internal stakeholders to translate strategies into Programmatic briefs and implementation plans
- Ability to drive data-driven analysis and insights to improve campaign effectiveness and value to the business, including advanced analytics to measure the impact of Programmatic media campaigns
- Excellent communicator with experience presenting strategies and plans to senior stakeholders
- Experience in working in a data driven marketing organisation and using martech (CDPs, DCRs, DSPs)
