Project Controller (LR8)
Based: Crawley – hybrid working 3 days in the office per week

Our Opportunity
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Controller to join our Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) team in Crawley, who provide world leading capabilities for Un-Crewed Air Systems (UAS), Radar Product Support (RPS) and Electronic Warfare (EW) for UK, France and Export markets
You will be responsible for providing project planning and monitoring and control expertise for one of our leading projects and key to the role is to integrate into the project management team, in order to assist the Project Manager in key decision making and provide guidance and coaching to the project team. The Project Controller should understand the project status to a level where they can make informed analysis of any changes to schedule, cost, scope and strategic and operational planning (S&OP).
You will be working directly with the Project Manager (PM) and Project Management Office (PMO) Manager where this role supports the definition of the project goals and objectives, creates and maintains cost and schedule baselines, monitors and analyses progress against the baselines, and advises and challenges the Project and Work Package Managers on their decision-making through reporting and the presentation and interpretation of relevant project data.
This role is based from our Crawley office with an expectation to work from the office 3 days per week.
This role will require SC Clearance. It would be advantageous if currently held; if not currently held it is expected that the post holder will undergo SC Clearance, please visit the UKSV website for further guidance.
About You:
- You will have proven successful “hands-on” experience working in both a complex bid and project environment and are adept at planning high level & detailed schedules, monitoring and progressing schedules, data analysis & cost control, programme/project reporting, budgeting & risk management. You will also require excellent stakeholder management and have working knowledge / application of scheduling tools such as Oracle Primavera and Microsoft Project.
