Project Development Manager

Leap29 are partnered with an established UK developer that are in search of an experienced Project Development Manager. The projects will be utility-scale ground-mount solar and battery storage across the UK. Our client develops, owns, and operates the assets and have all functions in-house, including, development, finance, engineering, and legal.

Areas of Responsibility:

• Managing projects from inception until Ready to Build (RtB).
• Ensuring delivery of projects on time, within scope and budget.
• Execute strategies for greenfield projects, existing projects, and project acquisitions
• Lead on all aspects of the development process including planning, land acquisition, .
• Take ownership of assigned projects, including managing deadlines, multiple project objectives, and success criteria for each

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience of working in a similar role is essential.

• 3+ years in Project Development experience in the renewables sector in the UK.
• A solid understanding of the energy development processes in England, Wales, and Scotland.
• Exposure to functions such as Land Acquisition, Grid Applications, Planning/EIAs, Project Finance.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness.
