With the growing workload within the team, there is a need for a Project Engineering Lead (PEL) to oversee work progress, forward loading, bids, etc. within the Antenna Group.
The Antenna PEL will be responsible for the collation of forward load information, arranging the provision of technical work estimates from the appropriate technical experts within the Antenna Group and supplying that information to projects. The PEL will be the interface between the Antenna Group Engineers and Project/IPT/CDT counterparts. This role will be supported by a project technical lead from within the Antenna Group. The PEL should be familiar with the forward load expected from each project/IPT or CDT and may be expected to attend project or IPT planning meetings.
The Antenna PEL will liaise with the Compact Antenna Test Range (CATR) team to help schedule the workload within the CATR measurement facilities and will attend the weekly CATR Range planning meeting to help in this regard.

You must be a well-organised individual with a track record of working on multiple projects simultaneously, with the ability to retain information pertinent to each project and provide information without delay.
Along with the Antenna Group engineers, you will support the design of novel antenna solutions within the team and will be responsible for ensuring the appropriate resources are available to project to complete the task required to deliver those solutions. In addition, it would be useful if you had a general experience of providing technical support to manufacture or involvement in test, calibration and validation activities.
The role of the Antenna PEL will involve working with internal and external customers. You should be comfortable presenting your work, ideas or plans through either written reports or oral presentations.
