Job Description

Costain are working with Anglian Water on a variety of reservoir and pipeline projects and have fantastic opportunities for individuals to join our growing delivery team, working predominantly across Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire region.

The Project Manager will support the delivery of projects across the region, develop key relationships with Anglian Water operational personnel, supply chain partners and promote a team spirit environment.

Responsibilities

• Leadership, line management and development of project resource, including the shaping of the team and development of talent
• Provide whole life oversight and accountability for the successful completion of maintenance projects and services, through design, procurement, assembly, commissioning, and handover
• Ensure the supply chain remains compliant with the Framework Management Plan, framework and project HASEMPs and all site-specific agreed procedures
• Provide leadership to create a safety culture to ensure Zero LTI and RIDDOR Incidents
• Ensure a commercial focus with a high level of challenge on project scope and choosing efficient delivery strategies
• Ensure all stakeholders are engaged at strategic and operational levels and supportive of the projects and services and their potential impacts
• Ensure consistent and reliable reporting of project/services performance into the Anglian systems
• Ensure key project and programme risks are identified early, and mitigated where possible, with issues and blockers escalated immediately to the Delivery Manager
  
  

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a multi-project delivery management role
• Skills, knowledge and experience of CDM and construction management
• Strong project delivery and people management and leadership skills
• Good understanding of the water sector
• Problem-solving skills and ability to provide solutions
• Good understanding of site delivery and buildability
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience of managing a variety of contractual arrangements, competitive tendering, partnering and frameworks
• HNC/HND or degree in a relevant engineering discipline
• SMSTS qualification
