Description
Using property to support the mission and ministry of the Church of England
With a portfolio of clergy houses spread across the city and county along with a range of other investment property, the Diocese of Leicester has a role for an experienced Property Manager who can deliver quality on a tight budget. The Property Manager will also be involved in the delivery at diocesan level of the Church of England’s ambitious net zero carbon target.
Possessing property management and/or surveying experience, along with line management and commercial skills, you will lead a small team delivering services to a high standard and making the best use of diocesan assets. You’ll also be very aware of the people side of property, taking care to ensure that clergy housing is helping our ministers to fulfil their calling to serve their local communities. And you’ll be comfortable working to targets and deadlines also operating in a faith environment.
If this is you, then we would love to hear from you about this exciting role working for the Church of England in Leicester and Leicestershire.
For an informal conversation about the role, you can arrange a conversation with Simon Wilson at: simon.wilson@leicestercofe.org
We encourage applications from UK Minority Ethnic / Global Majority Heritage candidates, who are currently under-represented in the organization.
Interview date: 16 January 2025
