We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Mobile team on a permanent basis.
As a Quality Assurance Engineer for Mobile you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Bauer's mobile platforms. This role involves both manual and automated testing to support product stability, enhance the user experience, and ensure our mobile products consistently meet high-quality standards.
Close collaboration with developers, product managers, and designers is crucial to uphold a robust quality assurance process.

Bauer Media Audio operates a 'hub and spoke' model for digital, where the central digital team provides strategy, insight, innovation, product management, technology, IP distribution, and support. Our country teams focus on local planning, content, and commercial delivery. This is a remote role with the option of working from any of our UK offices if that is your preference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft and execute functional and non-functional test plans.
- Oversee the quality of our mobile platform, taking full responsibility for validating features and functionalities.
- Maintain and extend Swift automation test packs for iOS and potentially contribute to Kotlin test packs for Android.
- Work closely with developers to ensure smooth automation processes.
- Collaborate with product managers / designers to align testing with product needs.
- Interact with and debug API interactions as part of the testing process.
- Participate in incident management, including out-of-hours support.
- Create detailed test plans and provide clear reports to the wider team.
- Identify potential quality risks during development, contributing to risk mitigation strategies.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience with automated iOS testing (Swift),
- knowledge of the SDLC, STLC, and Scrum/Agile methodologies.
- Good understanding of QA processes and methodologies.
- Practical experience in creating and maintaining automated tests.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to delve into the root causes of issues.
- Comfortable working in an Agile scrum team and open to integrating new technological trends.
