In this critical quality role, you will lead a team responsible for the raw material inspection, in-process control and final release of medical devices at S+N. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across our business, having a huge impact on how we maintain high standards of quality and safety at our Hull site.

You'll be responsible for leading and developing the Quality Control team performance, whilst always ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You'll also have the opportunity to champion and drive continuous improvement within our Quality Management System (QMS), whilst instilling our culture of ensuring high quality products reach our customers, every single time, allowing them to live Life Unlimited!

What will you be doing?

• Leading team performance, developing KPIs, and ensuring compliance through quality controls will be the key responsibilities in this role.
• You'll be responsible for the final release of products, handling non-conforming products, and ensuring continuous improvement in manufacturing quality.
• Supervising Incoming Quality Inspection and In-Process Quality Control.
• You'll also be partnering with our Manufacturing teams to oversee Operational Quality; GMP/Quality training and ensuring timely completion of Quality actions (including CAPA).
• Preparing and submitting quality reports to internal management at S+N, and external bodies.
• Supporting and contributing to internal and external audits to ensure site-wide compliance.
• Applying high standards of occupational Health & Safety in the workplace will be critical for this role.
  
  
  

What do you need to be successful?

You'll need to be a proven Quality Assurance professional in the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Industry. You should have detailed knowledge of GMP and Quality Standards, as well as familiarity with ISO 13485.
