Abbey Veterinary Centre, Shrewsbury - New Graduate Programme – Small Animal Vet

An opportunity has arisen for a Recent Graduate Vet to join us at Abbey Veterinary Centre in Shrewsbury. We are looking for an individual with some post graduate experience.

Our practice was recently refurbished and features a brand new ultrasound and digital x-ray suite, dedicated dental room with dental x-rays, a well-equipped theatre and separate cat and kennel wards.

We are a supportive and compassionate team, who pride ourselves on the high standard of care that we provide to our clients and patients.

This is a full time, permanent position. You will work 1 in 3 Saturdays but there is no on call requirement.

In addition, you will attend dedicated Continued Professional Development (CPD) days, supporting the development of your clinical skills and non-clinical skills, including self-leadership, teamwork, wellbeing, resilience and business, whilst also providing the opportunity for you to share experiences with fellow graduates.

  • Salary of £35,000 if joining year 1 of the graduate programme or £38,000 if joining year 2
  • No financial tie-in beyond completion of the programme.
