Are you an experienced Receptionist? Used to working within a professional services environment? We're looking for an enthusiastic and professional Receptionist to join our Business Operations team in our Birmingham office on a full-time basis. We need a positive, polite and smart individual with a 'can-do' attitude and organised approach. Previous Receptionist experience within a professional services environment will be highly beneficial to this role, however any Receptionist with exceptional client service skills will be considered.

Our Team
As part of a team of Receptionists, you will be dealing with people of all levels from support staff to Partners and both internal and external clients. The team primarily work 9am-5pm but occasionally on a rota basis to maintain cover between 7.30am and 6pm, therefore flexibility and proven experience of working effectively in a team is essential.
Our Opportunity
In this role, you'll not only be responsible for meeting and greeting visitors but also carrying out a wide range of Receptionist duties. You'll be undertaking a number of PC based tasks including booking meeting rooms and maintaining the constant flow of reception emails. The role will also require you to be involved in pre-event planning and logistics, liaising with relevant contacts onsite including maintenance, catering and IT to ensure rooms and spaces are set up efficiently and correctly.
You'll also be responsible for maintaining the reception area, issuing passes to all visitors and ensuring all services are provided in accordance with the agreed service levels. This can be a busy role where you will be given the opportunity to take ownership of client problems and help to resolve them. You will often be managing reception on your own therefore you must be well-organised.
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday primarily 9am-5pm, occasionally on a shift rota 7.30am-6pm to cover annual leave/absences.
You
You will understand the importance and intricacies of client relationships, and this will be reflected in your professional and confidential approach to your work. You will have excellent communication and English language skills and be able to liaise with stakeholders of all levels clearly and confidently. Attention to detail is critical as well as excellent telephone and PC skills.
On busier occasions there will be a high level of pressure, therefore you must be able to stay calm at all times. You'll need to be methodical, well-organised and be able to handle multiple tasks at once. This role is a busy and dynamic one where flexibility may be needed if overtime is required.
In order to be successful, you will have a minimum of one years' experience, ideally within professional services.
