Each Round lasts one hour and commences with one or two storytellers sharing their experiences to trigger reflection and resonance in the audience. An open discussion, guided by a trained facilitator, then follows in which audience members are invited to share their reflections triggered by the panellists’ stories. They run both face to face and online. More information on Schwartz Rounds is here including links to animation films: https://workforceresearchsurrey.health/projects-resources/schwartz-rounds/.

The successful applicant will be based at the University of Surrey and will work closely with Schwartz Round leads Professors Jill Maben and Cath Taylor, and the Schwartz Rounds facilitation team. They will be responsible for key administrative elements of Schwartz Rounds at Surrey, with supervision and support. About You

The successful applicant will require a flexible and proactive approach to their work with excellent verbal and written communication skills, engaging with the wide-ranging stakeholders, as well as the ability to work independently within a face to face and remote team culture. They will have a good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel spreadsheets, Zoom and TicketTailor. They will demonstrate confidentiality, excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills and the ability to work on their own initiative. Organisation, planning and attention to detail are key requirements for this position. Previous experience in an administrative role is essential and experience of working within a University setting is advantageous.
