This is a perfect opportunity for someone who is passionate about marketing, eager to learn about retention, and excited to join a fantastic team that will enable you to develop and grow. As the Retention Marketing Advisor for AA Driving School, you will support the Marketing Manager in maximising customer lifetime value by driving retention and engagement across the entire customer lifecycle. You will champion all things loyalty and build retention campaigns that deliver an outstanding customer experience. You will work across both Driving School brands, AA and BSM, as well as three core customer groups: driving instructor trainees, learner drivers, and franchisees.
What will I be doing?
- Assist in creating and rolling out both internal and customer-facing marketing materials. Ensure all teams have cohesive and up-to-date information to better serve customers and deliver an exceptional customer experience. Some copywriting required (emails, headlines, etc.).
- Aid in planning and executing cohesive retention marketing activities throughout the year across the right channel mix, measuring effectiveness, and taking appropriate actions.
- Support and take ownership of the onboarding and in-life franchisee journey. Work closely with the Comms and Marketing Manager and other Group stakeholders to set a long-term plan, championing a best-in-class customer experience.
- Assist in executing the franchisee email strategy. Optimise customer journeys to deliver strong engagement and maximise Group cross-sell opportunities.
- Help develop a new franchise loyalty program.
- Assist in sourcing and executing partnership opportunities as part of proposition development to drive product value.
- Maintain a broad interest in the wider Driving School market and stay updated on the latest retention and loyalty trends and channels. Contribute to the annual competitive analysis and share key updates with the wider teams.
- Ensure all activities accurately represent and bring the brand to life. Support and leverage the wider Masterbrand strategy, championing Driving School as an integral part of the Group.
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with GDPR, Consumer Duty, and FCA regulations.
What do I need?
- Passionate about delivering the best customer experience with a customer-centric approach.
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Knowledgeable about retention marketing channels, including email, SMS, and emerging platforms.
- Skilled in analysing data and translating customer insights into retention activities.
- Keen eye for creating great customer experiences through impactful communication and engaging content.
- Bachelor-level degree (ideally in the fields of brand, marketing, or communications).
- Positive, can-do attitude.
- Able to use initiative and solve problems pragmatically.
- Collaborative working style.
- Strong organisational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and stakeholders comfortably.
