Job Purpose
The role is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive reward strategies that align with the firm's strategic objectives and our culture of doing the right thing, showing respect and taking responsibility.
As the Reward and Benefits Senior Manager, you will:
- Design and execute of our firmwide reward strategy, overseeing all aspects of compensation and benefits.
- Engage on elements of partner remuneration as and when required.
- Work collaboratively with our HR business partnering team to ensure the firm's reward proposition is truly aligned with our strategic business objectives and the diverse needs of our client groups across the firm.
- Build strong relationships with our finance team to ensure our reward strategy, plan and processes align to budget and that recommendations around pay and bonus are sustainable.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory commitments and external changes that impact on the reward landscape.
- Work closely with the wider People & Culture senior leadership to ensure reward strategy aligns with the overall firm strategy and EVP to attract, engage, and retain top talent in our experienced and trainee teams.
- Manage and lead our reward team.
What are we looking for?
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a senior reward role within a complex organisation, ideally experience of working in a matrix, partnership structure.
- You will have a deep understanding of reward principles, market trends, benchmarking and best practice in compensation and benefits. You will be analytical, have exceptional attention to detail, financial modelling skills and a track record of influencing and building relationships with stakeholders across the firm.
- This role will directly influence future reward strategies ensuring they are innovative, aligned to the market and the successful candidate will play a key role to support the firm with attracting and retaining existing and potential talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with senior stakeholders to design, develop and implement reward strategies and competitive pay structures that support the firm's objectives.
- Collaborate with internal communications team members to develop and lead delivery of clear and consistent reward messaging, ensuring successful delivery of reward and recognition activity across our experienced and trainee team.
- Collaborate with our people operations (HR Shared Services) team to ensure there is data integrity across data sources that feed our reward processes and a robust supporting infrastructure to ensure the effective delivery of reward activity.
- Take a leading but collaborative role in the firm's cyclical processes such as salary and bonus reviews and taking a proactive role in procuring and sharing market and data provider insights to inform activity.
- Oversee and manage all procurement activity in relation to the reward and benefits portfolio in a forward thinking and future focussed way.
- Lead benchmarking processes to ensure fair and accurate reward review across the firm. Conduct regular market reviews, leading and owning the processes to make timely recommendations to inform budgeting and compensation review activity.
- Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the impact of our reward and benefits portfolio.
