Job Description
Wood is curently recruiting for a Risk Engineer in Aberdeen. This will be based at Sir Ian Wood House on a hybrid basis, this would be a part time position at around 30 hours per week.
The Risk Engineer manages all activities related to risk management on the project on behalf of the Project Engineer / Delivery Manager.
The role can be filled by a dedicated individual.
The Risk Engineer Will
- Adhere to ACC-STD-100002 which defines the Risk Process and Roles and Responsibilities adopted on the Contract.
- Initiate activities related to the development of the Project Risk Register (PMG-FOR-110138) , including working with the Project Engineer, client representatives and other stakeholders
- Maintain the project risk register throughout the lifecycle of the project
- Coordinate, support and expedite closeout of all actions identified in the risk register
- Co-ordinate and support the identification of additional risks during execution of project and develop associated action plans with project team
- Coordinate activities related to Quantitative Risk Assessments as required
- Develop and release all reports related to risk management activities on the project
Qualifications
- Demonstrated track record in EPC projects with understanding of contract / commercial matters
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and relational skills, able to work cross functionally and create trust
