Job Title: Inbound Sales Advisor (Fuel Division)
Location: Crewe, CW1 6EG (approximately 5 minutes walk from train and bus links)
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm (no weekends, evenings or bank holidays)
Role Summary
An Inbound Sales Advisor must strive for excellence, ensuring that every sales lead they receive is treated like gold and in turn, converted into a customer for the business. Radius invests heavily in this sales function as not only does it feed the Fuel division with customers, but also the company's other business units.
Although the sales leads are inbound and warmer than traditional outbound leads, sales process is paramount to ensure the customers' needs are met and Radius provide the right solution first time. Given this, the successful individual will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to work in a structured manner, have the ability to challenge, probe and question effectively, negotiate and close the sale.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle Inbound Sales Leads: Respond to incoming customer calls, emails, and sales leads promptly, professionally and in line with business expectations.
- Sales Conversion: Identify sales opportunities through a consultative approach and convert leads into business by understanding customer needs and offering the right solution first time.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of Radius’ products and services, enabling you to identify further opportunities within your sales ripe for referring.
- Follow-Up: Conduct follow-up communications with potential and existing customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- CRM Management: Accurately input and manage customer information and sales activities in Salesforce.
- Collaboration: Work closely with your peers, leadership team, and other relevant departments to improve efficiencies.
- Feedback: Gather customer feedback and provide insights to the product and marketing teams to help improve offerings and customer experience.
What do we expect from you?
- Proven experience in a sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage prospects effectively.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills with the ability to overcome objections.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in using Salesforce and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a high level of accountability.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to learn and continuously improve sales techniques and strategies.
- High degree of professionalism, exceptional standards and strong work ethic.
