About The Role
At GSF Car Parts, the Sales Ledger Administrator plays a key role in contributing to the company’s financial performance, through supporting the finance team in processing and collection of customers payments in our Solihull offices.
As the Sales Ledger Administrator, you will have the ability to work quickly and under pressure to deadlines, dealing efficiently and patiently with all customers and suppliers.
With our aim to be a flexible employer, this role offers hybrid working.
Main Duties Include
- Ensure all payment coming into the company are correctly posted to the system
- Ensure payments are received withing the agreed payments terms
- Ensure all overdue debts are cleared on a timely basis by month end
- Maintain customer relationships
- Increase credit limits when requested by the Sales team
- Obtain PODs from branches and external carriers when requested
- Ad hoc duties as and when required to support the credit control
- Create new customer accounts as and when required in line with company policy
Working Hours
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday - Hybrid 3 days in the office
About You
The ideal candidate will have an administration background, preferably from within the finance sector.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
- Experience ideally gained in a fast-paced, multi-site organisation
- An excellent communicator
- Strong attention to detail/accuracy
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Computer literate and proficient in using MS Office Packages, specifically MS Excel
- Previous experience of MAM would be beneficial but not essential
