Cat Tech is recognized as a world leader in the provision of Catalyst Handling services for the refining, chemical, petrochemical, and processing industries.
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager based in the UK who can demonstrate transferable skills from the catalyst handling, refining, or petrochemical industrial services sector.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain productive, professional relationships with potential clients to expand the customer base.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with existing customers to secure repeat business.
- Lead regional sales efforts, including pricing, quoting, problem resolution, deal closure, and customer job evaluations.
- Set and maintain high standards in quality and safety matters.
- Conduct market analysis to assess competition and demand.
- Develop annual and quarterly sales and marketing plans, forecasts, and budgets in line with CTE’s regional business strategies.
- Provide a weekly activity report to the CTI Corporate Sales & Marketing Director and CEO.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in catalyst handling or the petrochemical/refining industries.
- A minimum of 3 years of sales management experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
- Expert sales and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical thinking.
- Commercial awareness, with a focus on costing and margin management.
- Problem-solving ability.
- A strong network within the European and UK refining/petrochemical sector.
- A full driving license and the ability to travel as needed.
Additional Information:
Hybrid work: Ideally based in our Scunthorpe office, but for the right candidate there is potential for working from home, with intermittent visits to our office in Scunthorpe.
Salary is commensurate with experience, plus a car, laptop and phone.
