Description

At NCH, we have a need for an ambitious, entry level, outside sales representative in the North West region, specifically Bolton, Wigan and Blackburn/Burnley areas. As you grow with us, your earnings will rapidly increase with uncapped commissions.

At NCH, we are a family owned company that manufactures and supplies advanced performance lubricants for heavy machinery. Through business-to-business sales in an industrial setting, you will focus on developing and securing long term partnerships with new and existing customers out in the field.

Previous sales experience is essential, we are interested in speaking to people who can demonstrate the required attributes needed for this role and are looking to enhance their skills on selling new capital equipment. This is a field based sales position and not office based.
Predominant area will be North Region (Based Leeds / Manchester area – M6 Corridor)

Key Responsibilities



  • Coordinate and attend review meetings at contracted customer's sites.

  • Identify and progress resale opportunities for customers that have had NCH / BlastWash products / services.

  • Identify and progress sales opportunities for new customers through new contracts.

  • Account management – maintain relationship with customer post sale to ensure customer satisfaction and obtain referrals. Taking ownership of the customer and their issues. This will assist in increasing the number of relationship contact points between BlastWash and the customer.

  • Complete and manage all customer orders utilising relevant company technology and in accordance with company policies, procedures and trading standards.

  • Present NCH Europe as a credible and professional supplier of products / services.

  • Maintain knowledge of products and services as well as industry developments.

  • Ensure adherence to NCH Europe's health and safety standards, to protect the wellbeing of colleagues.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

KPIs:
· Develop strong relationships with existing and new customers out in the field
· Present and demonstrate sales presentations in a consultative approach
· Detailed planning and prioritisation of daily activities
Key Accountabilities:

  • Experience with cold calling and field sales in a B2B and/or B2C environment is essential.

  • Business Development acumen and the right attitude for this is essential - the majority of the role will be prospecting for new business.

  • Tenacious, determined and willing to learn.

  • Great attitude and personality.

  • Self-Motivated to achieve sales targets.

  • Located Nationally.

  • Must have a full UK driving license

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable dealing with all levels of management/non-management both internally to NCH Europe and externally.

Experience / Knowledge

  • Previous industry or sales experienced required.

  • Entrepreneurial and energetic personality

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable dealing with all levels of an organization internal and external

  • Strong work ethic and coachable attitude

  • Ability to work irregular or extended hours as needed to fit with customer and business needs

  • Full clean UK driving license and own reliable transport is essential

  • Full right to work in the UK - NCH Europe are not able to provide any kind of visa sponsorship for any of our roles
