What will I be doing:

As a Salesforce DevOps Engineer, you will develop and deploy technical solutions on Salesforce Sales Cloud, design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments, and manage version control systems, including branching and tagging strategies in GitHub. You will ensure platform security and compliance, collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integrations, and test and troubleshoot interactions across multiple products and applications.

What experience do I need:

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Salesforce architecture, including objects, workflows, validation rules, and Apex, as well as proficiency with deployment tools like Azure DevOps, Gearset, and Copado. Experience with automation tools, branching strategies, Agile methodologies, and ITIL frameworks is essential. The role requires the ability to work independently, adapt to new tools and tasks, collaborate effectively to overcome challenges, and prioritise work within the broader delivery scope. Familiarity with AWS and Terraform is also highly valued.

Other requirements include:

  • Good knowledge of basic networking and security concepts,
  • Be able to logically work through problems, correlating and investigating patterns in behaviour and logging,
  • Experience with continuous integration systems CI/CD (e.g., Git, Github),
  • Strong Git command-line skills.
