Job Opportunity: Senior Business Development Manager – Construction Solutions


We’re seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth within the UK construction sector. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional to work with cutting-edge solutions that address the unique challenges of the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the UK construction market, focusing on solving industry-specific challenges with innovative software and solutions.
  • Manage a strategic sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and effective opportunity tracking.
  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders across customer accounts, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including technical consultants, customer success, and implementation specialists, to tailor solutions that meet clients’ needs.
  • Conduct in-depth discovery and needs analysis to align the right solutions and drive value for customers.
  • Engage with C-level executives and senior leaders to gain sponsorship and accelerate the sales process.
  • Provide regular updates on sales forecasts, pipeline progress, and account health.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally in the construction or AEC sector.
  • Strong expertise in consultative selling, with a focus on value-based selling, ROI methodologies, and solution selling.
  • 4+ years of experience selling into the construction, engineering, or architecture sectors.
  • Strong ability to prospect, build relationships, and generate new business from strategic accounts.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior executives.
  • Self-motivated, with a proactive and results-driven approach to sales.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools, including MS Office and LinkedIn.
