What You'll Do

This role will work directly with senior stakeholders as part of their leadership team to understand local business strategy, connect it to the wider corporate agenda and translate it into a set of communications priorities that reflect the tone and focus of CSG. You will be the key lead on relationships with Group Comms, Marketing, HR and other key areas across SKY.

You will be responsible for creating a measurable strategy, plan and comms activity plan for the whole of CSG and working closely with the Strategic comms Advisors to translate this into local activity. You will take the lead on creating and managing the CSG wide story, the leadership communications rhythm and for leading on a range of cross-CSG projects. The role requires an in-depth understanding of the target audience, a flexible and 'can do' approach and the ability to work with, and advise, stakeholders on how best to deliver those priorities using data and insight.

What You'll Bring

  • Must feel confident in giving feedback, challenging and have the ability to offer a creative and innovative view, using data driven insight to support this.
  • Excellent judgement and relationship skills are essential, as well as excellent writing skills and experience in developing creative ideas, digital and online channels.
  • Be able to produce quality content, quickly and where required, brief suppliers to do the same.
  • Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - especially copy writing
  • Experience with digital / online channels or social media
  • Excellent planning skills
  • Creative flair and ability to look at things differently
  • Resilience and tenacity to deliver in a fast-paced, often changing and challenging environment
  • Ability to quickly understand complex business areas and build effective and fit for purpose communications
  • Focused on business outcomes rather than outputs and coming up with strategies that deliver a measurable impact
  • Ability to quickly build business acumen - understanding the business strategy and proactively spotting opportunities to come up with solutions to support
  • Strategic thinking and advisory skills
