We are looking for a Senior Creative Co-ordinator to join our Photo Studio team at Next!
You will be part of an amazing team of in-house creative managers working as one to deliver the full end to end process of asset creation and drive our in-house stylists, photographers and assistants within the model channel. This is an extremely fast-paced role that strives to maintain Next’s photographic vision and creative beliefs.

About The Role
- To deliver content to the highest quality for the Next customer aligned to our brand principles & creative direction.
- You will provide strong creative guidance to the Studio regarding image quality, training, planning & resourcing in line with your Creative Lead.
- You will be a focused, driven, hard-working individual that has the maturity and empathy to brief, manage and give direction through effective listening and collaboration.
- You must be able to remain calm and professional while maintaining a positive and proactive attitude.
- This role demands a strong team player with exceptional communication skills who is eager to learn and develop and can grasp new information very quickly.
- You should be able to work just as effectively on individual projects as well as collaboratively as a team.
- You will be able to identify with the ever-changing requirements of a large studio team.
- It is vital to build and maintain strong relationships with your Creative Lead and senior management within Next Studios.
Responsibilities
- Provide strong, clear and aspirational creative guidance and support to the studio team from a creative standpoint.
- To build, develop and strengthen briefs to satisfy both the client and the direction from your Creative Lead.
- Offer strong creative guidance to clients to develop and push model photography and videography forward.
- Work alongside the other seniors to fulfill briefs to the desired output.
- Ability to confidently present ideas and concepts to senior managers within the studio, external stakeholders and wider teams.
- Provide strong, clear and aspirational creative guidance and support to the studio team from a creative standpoint.
- Communicate effectively with your team to evolve the aesthetics of the imagery creatively.
- Work collaboratively with all team members.
- Consistent research and understanding of fashion trends, across men's, women's fashion and accessories Pinterest, Instagram, trend forecasting etc to stay inspired, in order to bring the correct approach to every shoot.
- To be adaptable in working for other areas and teams across all studios.
- Responsible for quality control and creative working practices across the studios.
- Create presentations of current testing & developments to ensure the highest quality imagery is produced in-line with the creative direction of the business.
- Liaise with studio, product and coordination teams to ensure props, product and sets are organised on time.
- Work collaboratively with other senior members of the studio and wider teams, such as production and coordination teams.
- Confident in communicating and briefing across multiple disciplines and ensuring these are fulfilled.
- Maintain constant awareness of competitors, be ahead of the curve.
- To work collaboratively with other Senior roles within the Studio.
- Carry out performance reviews on a regular basis to ensure effective, motivated and supported teams.
- Conducting 1-to-1s and assisting in the development of more junior members of the team.
- Responsible for implementing any new training and developments throughout the studios.
- Create presentations of current testing & developments to ensure the highest quality imagery is produced in-line with the creative direction of the business.
- Keep internal guides and information up to date for the wider studio team to follow.
- Responsible for quality control and creative working practices across the studios. To constantly communicate with product co-ordination & online teams to ensure their requirements are met.
- Consistently strive to think outside the box with all processes and projects showing initiative and innovation.
- Communicate effectively with your Creative Lead to establish clear, recognisable and achievable goals.
- Flexibility to work at other Next studios when required.
About You
- Expert knowledge of commercial and editorial photography.
- A passion for fashion with experience in both model & product only shoots.
- A strong leader, who can manage, inspire and develop a team.
- Experience working within a large commercial studio environment.
- Forward thinking, innovative & proactive in approach of all projects
- Superior planning, workload management and organisational capabilities.
- Highly developed interpersonal, problem solving and presentation skills.
- Creative flair and knowledge, producing innovative ideas and solutions.
- A strong communicator and listener.
- It is essential to be commercially minded and aware of retail and photographic trends.
- Comfortable with a highly pressured and rapidly changing environment.
- Flexibility to work at other Next studios when required.
- Previous relevant experience.
- A supporting portfolio or website.
- Exemplary attention to detail.
- Full UK driving license.
