Job title: Senior Engineer – Software – SI

Salary: Circa £ 58,000 (depending on skills and experience)
What You’ll Be Doing
- Implement fixes and functionality updates of relevant software products in line with project priorities
- Carry out relatively complex technical analyses and investigations, including evaluation and selection of technical options, and prepare reports with suggested recommendations to support the resolution of problems and the improvement of engineering capability
- Prepare and develop designs in line with specifications and all quality and technical standards, and carry out design appraisals in assigned areas to ensure all standards are maintained
- Address operational problems or developments and develop and prepare solutions, individually or as a member of a project team
- Active participation in the integration and testing of software products on local target rigs
- To undertake the design, development, integration and test of the assigned Software Products in line with all relevant processes and quality requirements under the direction of the Software Engineering team leaders

- Ability to operate in a large, complex multi-project environment
- We require a software engineer with experience in many of the following categories:
- C# experience
- WPF(Windows Presentation Foundation) experience
- Powershell
- Unit, regression and system testing

The Team
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be developing and maintaining a range of products that shape and bring together the software that will be used throughout the Royal Navy fleet. You will be actively engaging in hands-on experiences, support internal and customer testing and get involved in the evaluation of new and emergent technology and the potential insertion of such technology to keep our product portfolio competitive in the marketplace.
