Salary: Circa £48,000 depending on skills and experience
What You’ll Be Doing
- Maturing aspects of the Common Infrastructure into the whole boat design
- Assessing supplier evidence against ship spec requirements
- Engineering change management and supporting whole boat change boards
- Generation of system design documentation
- Support the supplier integration strategy
Essential
Your skills and experiences:
- Proficient in interface management
- Experience working in a defence environment
- Experience in requirements verification and validation
Desirable
- Experience with engineering lifecycle management
- Proficient in using IBM DOORS

The Dreadnought Common Infrastructure Team
The Dreadnought Common Infrastructure team provides the central processing, network, storage and user interfaces for the Dreadnought combat system. The team consists of 30-35 engineers across a range of engineering disciplines working throughout the whole engineering lifecycle. As Senior Systems Engineer you will be working on the Dreadnought Common Infrastructure, the backbone to the Dreadnought combat system. Liaising with multiple stakeholders, maturing the parts and ensuring the evidence provided meets the customer requirements. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
