Bally's Corporation is a global casino-entertainment company with a growing omni-channel presence. It currently owns and manages 15 casinos across 10 states, a golf course in New York, a horse racetrack in Colorado, and has access to OSB licenses in 18 states. It also owns Bally's Interactive International, formerly Gamesys Group, a leading, global, online gaming operator, Bally Bet, a first-in-class sports betting platform, and Bally Casino, a growing iCasino platform.

With 10,600 employees, the Company's casino operations include approximately 15,300 slot machines, 580 table games and 3,800 hotel rooms. Upon completing the construction of a permanent casino facility in Chicago, IL, and a land-based casino near the Nittany Mall in State College, PA, Bally's will own and/or manage 16 casinos across 11 states. Bally’s also has rights to developable land in Las Vegas post the closure of the Tropicana.

Well, what about the team?

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to support our Agile development teams who develop, deliver and maintain features, APIs and capabilities within our web ecosystem. Our tech stack is both modern and constantly evolving and as a technical leader you will have the opportunity to contribute to the discussions and decision-making that help shape our technical landscape.

You will often focus on technical matters that affect more than just one developer. You will be active in technical discussions and work with various external stakeholders to help define options and agree on solutions for future streams of work. We have fun making fun, all our teams collaborate and learn from each other each and every day in an environment of continual learning and improvement.

So, what will you be doing?

  • Collaborate with development teams through pair or mob programming or by leading technical discussions to help uncover implementation details
  • Prototype technical solutions to get better insights on their long-term viability and sustainability
  • Own and drive tactics and standards ensuring upgrade paths, code style and quality
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure best practices are followed by the team
  • Implement and maintain unit tests to ensure software quality and to facilitate early identification of issues

And what are we looking for?

  • Extensive knowledge of TypeScript, Javascript and Node.js
  • Understanding of webpack configurations
  • Design and develop front end logic using the React stack
  • Develop high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code
  • Expert knowledge of source control, versioning and tagging strategies (git etc.)
