Job Description

As a Senior Manager Sales, you will take ownership of major accounts within Infineon's industrial, infrastructure, and renewables customers.

In your new role you will:

  • Maintain and grow our business with parts, systems and solutions from all Infineon areas
  • Define, implement and monitor an appropriate sales strategy to achieve the targeted design win and revenue goals for the assigned customers
  • Identify projects with high sales growth potential and assign cross functional resources to maximize design wins
  • Steer commercial negotiations and consult on technical questions
  • Foster personal long-term relationships with key stakeholders at the assigned customer - interfacing with management, commercial and technical roles
  • Coordinate the activity of the dedicated account teams and set priorities in agreement with management
  • Provide feedback to the headquarter on demands and requirements from markets and the customer
  • Provide input for revenue forecasting and budgeting for the designated accounts

Your Profile

Communication skills are your outstanding strength and you know how to build positive and lasting relationships. You enjoy interacting with people from different backgrounds, being thrilled to work in a cross-functional global network of experts. You have exceptional negotiating skills being able to persuade and influence others. Your critical thinking allows you to discuss and handle complex topics. You have a clear vision of how your ideas and innovation contribute to success. Furthermore, your proactive mindset allied to your focus on quality allow you to make things more efficient, playing a crucial role in the whole team's excellence goals.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar
  • At least 5 years of work experience in technical Sales, (Field) Application Engineering, technical Marketing or similar, preferably within the power electronics industry
  • Knowledge of the market in key applications as drives, industrial automation, wind, HVDC (competitors, products, technologies)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • High customer and team orientation
  • Fluency in English
