Our Marketing team are looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Advisor to join the team on a 12 month FTC.
We’re building a professional Marketing Function for the long term. The Marketing function at Baringa was reformed in 2021. And the closeknit team has made real progress in the past three years to build the marketing infrastructure at Baringa and professionalise our approach to Marketing.
Marketing at Baringa acts as an internal marketing agency for internal clients, working closely with partner sponsors and champions across Baringa. Together we design and deliver programmes to build awareness and generate interest, drive engagement with our clients and the endorsement of our advocates.
The marketing team work on diverse initiatives spanning brand, media relations, campaigns, digital marketing, sponsorships and advertising, client experience networks, corporate hospitality, alumni, client feedback (cNPS) and case studies.
What You Will Be Doing
This role works alongside our sectors and capabilities marketers (approx. 10 people) and the focus is on:
- Events: ensure consistent delivery of events (ranging from Microsoft Dynamics to catering), covering podcasts, webinars and in-person client events; and share best practice ideas and feedback on what’s working well
- Newsletters: our sectors and capabilities are at different stages of maturity and the role will own consistency, quality and reporting on our newsletters. This will involve owning the content development and delivery in market, supporting the launch of new newsletters as they come on stream, and shaping our general strategy here and agreeing it with stakeholders
- Social media: this role will ensure there is a consistent Baringa tone of voice and visual identity across all our industry / capability social media messaging; advising on the use of rich content and developing this where suitable; reviewing metrics with Digital team colleagues and advising on recommended changes in tactics, including on paid promotion
- Website: updates for sector and capability pages on baringa.com; in collaboration with the Digital team, regularly review search metrics and recommend next steps to enhance our campaign on-line presence.
- Working closely with the relevant Marketing sector and capabilities Marketing leads to support the creation and delivery of campaigns and other initiatives which build awareness and recommendation, through ownership of specific deliverables, carried out consistently and optimally.
- Support the continued development of Baringa’s Marketing function along the way, collaborating with Marketing team colleagues and the wider business to create a world-class Marketing function. This includes taking the lead on shaping how we market Marketing internally within the business.
This role reports directly into the Products & Services Marketing Senior Manager for pastoral care and into the Marketing team Business Partners for each of Baringa’s sectors and capabilities. Other interactions will be with Marketing team colleagues, colleagues in Baringa Enablement and stakeholders in the business.
Your Skills And Experience
- Proven track record in shaping marketing strategy and the appropriate selection of tactics to drive a business forward and increase customer engagement and sales
- Marketing operations experience in a B2B environment , ideally working in professional services
- Expert relationship building and network creation – internally and with external parties
- Ability to work across all levels with impact, effectiveness and influence
- Proactive in pre-empting, identifying, resolving and escalating issues
- Professional, personable and people-focused
