Sphere Fluidics, a leader in single cell analysis and isolation technologies, seeks a passionate and results-oriented Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing team.
About Sphere Fluidics:
Our innovative platforms are built on scientific and engineering expertise spanning over a decade. Originally spun out from the University of Cambridge, we specialize in helping researchers find their most critical cells. Leveraging our picodroplet microfluidic technology, we offer high-throughput solutions for single cell isolation and analysis across various applications, including biologics discovery, cell engineering, and synthetic biology. The Role:
For this role we are seeking an experienced and versatile Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to the design and development of new scientific instruments. Reporting to the Instrumentation Design Manager in R&D you will be part of a multi-disciplinary development team that design, prototype, test and transfer into manufacture unique life science instruments. The role covers the whole design lifecycle, from concept to prototype build and test, to initial production of finished instruments.
