Description:

The Senior MES Support Engineer will leverage a minimum of 8 years of experience, with a strong preference for candidates possessing GE Proficy skills. The role involves proficiency in various technologies and the ability to maintain security clearance for handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

System Maintenance, Support, and Optimization

• Monitor, maintain, and optimize MES infrastructure for performance and uptime.
• Conduct regular health checks, backups, disaster recovery drills, and troubleshoot issues.

Installation, Configuration, Upgrades, and Compliance

• Install, configure, and upgrade MES software and hardware components.
• Ensure compliance with CMMC, Cyber Essentials, and company standards.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement remediation plans.

User Support, Training, and Collaboration

• Provide technical support and training to end-users.
• Develop and maintain user documentation and support materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and ensure seamless integration.

Required Proficiency

• Technologies: Linux, Microsoft SQL, Oracle Database, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Portainer.
• Security Clearance: Must be eligible for UK MOD security clearance to handle sensitive information.
