Job Title:- Senior Oracle DBS/AWS

As a Senior Oracle DBA/AWS your job involves managing and optimizing databases in the AWS cloud, and includes tasks such as:

• Database maintenance: Installing, upgrading, and patching Oracle software and databases
• Performance tuning: Optimizing and tuning database performance, and troubleshooting issues
• Security: Implementing security measures and policies, and ensuring secure access to the database
• Backup and recovery: Implementing and managing backup and recovery strategies, and disaster recovery procedures
• Database architecture: Designing and managing the database architecture to meet business needs
• Collaboration: Working with developers to design and implement new features, and troubleshoot issues

Other responsibilities may include:

• Monitoring database growth and performance bottlenecks, Finding and reorganizing fragmented objects, Creating and rebuilding indexes, and Analyzing and testing production and test databases.
• The ideal candidate will have experience with performance tuning using Automatic Workload Repository (AWR), migrating Oracle databases from EC2 to AWS RDS for Oracle, scripting this process, planning backup/restore strategies, and suggesting partitioning strategies.
• Experienced on Migration strategies for database migration to Cloud on both AZURE and AWS. Experienced on migrating on-Premises Oracle database to Azure Cloud VM. Experienced on migrating on-premises Oracle database to AWS Cloud.
