We're looking for a project based Senior Planner to join our DEOP Keogh Barracks scheme in Aldershot, Surrey.
Keogh Barracks is a circa £240m project for the DIO (Defence Infrastructure Organisation) consisting of works split over 17nr assets consisting of new builds & refurbishments with associated external & infrastructure works.

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
What will you be responsible for?
The role will be working with the pre-existing Kier project team throughout the ‘Pre Construction Phase' (Phase 1a & 1b) & Construction / Handover Phase (Phase 2) through to Q3 2030. As a Senior Planner you will retain an overall programme development & monitoring capacity for this vast project to ensure construction plans are created, updated, and amended in line with Kier's project NEC requirements.
Your Day-to-day Tasks Will Include
- Driving mid & short term planning procedures / collaborative planning forums
- Input to weekly / fortnightly project team progress reports and liaise with sub-contractors
- Production of internal planning based monthly progress report.
- Production of monthly client progressed programmes and any supportive narrative for review and approval by project leads prior to submission.
- Have a strong knowledge of JCT & NEC contract conditions & can implement the requirements on project programmes.
What are we looking for?
This role of Senior Planner is great for you if you:
- Have construction planning experience gained within the main contractor construction environment.
- You have a solid history of working on build tenders and live projects between £5M - £100M+ in value and you are an experienced user of Asta Powerproject software.
- You have strong knowledge of JCT & NEC contract conditions and how this affects planning and experience in developing claims / CE's.
- Valid CSCS accreditation.
- Holds or is willing to undertake HMG security clearance.
