About The Role
The London Borough of Bromley, in partnership with Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust are looking to recruit a full-time Senior Social Worker/AMHP to work within our Early Intervention in Psychosis Team based in Orpington.
You must hold a Dip SW, CQSW or degree in Social Work and be a qualified AMHP. Registration with Social Work England is a mandatory requirement.
A rare opportunity has arisen due to the promotion of the previous post holder for a senior social worker and care coordinator in our dynamic Early Intervention in Psychosis Service (EIP), where members enjoy manageable caseloads and a fully integrated multi-disciplinary approach.
Based at our offices in Orpington with free parking and good transport links, our EIP team is a supportive whole borough team working with service users subsequent to their first episode of psychosis, embracing concepts of strengths-based practice and a systemic approach with evidence based practice in order to enable recovery. As the Senior Social Worker, your enthusiasm, unique perspectives, knowledge of the Care Act and professional skills will be highly respected within the service. Training and development is an integral offer within the service.
As a qualified AMHP you will also be a member of the centralised AMHP service for 5 days every 5 - 6 weeks, based at Green Parks House nearby which ensures your practice is always supported by the highly experienced AMHP manager who will provide your professional supervision. Oxleas was proud to win "Trust of the Year" in the HSJ award 2023 and in partnership with London Borough of Bromley is proud to offer exceptional services to our service users and support to our staff.
