Front Office Senior Software Engineer (Java) - Hedge Fund - Up to £350k TC guaranteed

My client is a well-established, systematic hedge fund that has been scoring double digit returns for the past 10+ years.

You will be joining their most profitable pod - this is a small team (<10 people) deploying fully systematic, cross asset trading strategies. The team is expanding its trading operations and is looking for a senior software engineer to work on all sides of their trading platform to help them scale their trading activity.

You will be working next to Quants and Traders, productionising new strategies and tackling scalability issues while using a modern tech stack.

This is a predominantly office based role with 1 day WFH - flexible working hours.

Requirements:

• Experience working on systematic trading systems with a focus on performance / scalability
• Solid knowledge of Java fundamentals (multithreading / networking / concurrency)
• Exposure to futures / options trading strategies in a front office role ideal
