The Role:

With a growing Diagnostics area within our Farm Software stream, LIC require talented Full-stack Developers with a passion for building great software. You will be joining one of our many cross-functional delivery teams and will be involved with helping shape the future of our products.

We are looking for individuals who are interested in contributing to our collaborative and friendly work environment. The successful candidate will be a team player and will be motivated to continuously develop themselves and others. Strong communication skills are essential for the role. The role can be either Remote or based at our Newstead campus in Hamilton.

What are we looking for:

• 5+ year's commercial software development experience across .Net and Cloud based technologies.
• Proven track record of mentoring and growing other team members.
• Passion for innovation and keeping up-to date with latest technology trends.
• Strong development experience within the Amazon AWS products suite.
• Strong backend development skills using Node.js or .NET Core
• Experience with Docker, Serverless and CI/CD pipelines with IaC principles.
• Experience developing with an Agile mindset.
• Quality first mindset with experience across practices such as BDD and TDD.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
• Extensive knowledge of system design and architecture fundamentals.
• Comprehensive understanding of software design principles and engineering best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Proven experience developing Micro-service solutions.
• Exposure to Ruby or Elixir would be an advantage.
